The largest international trade show for Hobbies and Crafts has ended. The new products really impressed the visitors, while Paris Hilton gave a flair of jet set to the exhibition.
The conclusions for the trends of the following year can be summed up with the following points:
- mini albums continue to be popular, since they are small, easy and quick to make, cheap and make great gifts.
- doodlings are hot in patterns, rubons, stamps, die-cuts. They add a sophisticated look to our projects and decorate beautifully the corners.
- felt and fabric are going strong on embellishments. They offer dimension and interesting texture to the papercrafts.
- the finanacial difficulties of this year will drive the trend for recycling, renewal and reuse of materials.
We do not throw anythong away. We are certian to see some creations based on very unusual raw materials.
Also, the companies throw their focus on multiuse products, such as versatile tools, stamps and inks that have many applications.
In this financial crisi, the handmade will grow even more popular!
